Day 2 of the return to commuting. Beautiful morning, light and (mostly) well-behaved traffic. I was lacking a good light, and fixed that problem yesterday evening. Being able to see the road makes a big difference!

About 7 miles in to the 15 mile ride I started to feel BAD (impending bonk? don't really know) while waiting at a red light. the last 1/3 of the ride is the most difficult/hilly, and I wasn't looking forward to it. Fortunately I'd tucked a couple gels in my pocket before i left - I don't usually need anything for this distance, but I slammed one - glad I did. By mile 10 I was feeling almost normal, and the rest of the ride was no trouble.
