All of the Avenue/Liberty frames are the same, just different colors. I own a Liberty 1 which has been converted to a flat bar for my son and it is good bike for the money. You will get varying levels of response from this forum on a hybrid, hence I would suggest posting this in the Hybrid forum.

For what it's worth, $100 more gets you a carbon fork and drop bars plus better shifters.
