I used to go to the Piper airshow every year as a kid. Unfortunately, Lock Haven seems to be the "former" home of a lot of businesses now; Hammermill Paper also comes to mind. Since I left in 1994, I think the population has shrunk by a few thousand. Most of my friends work in State College or elsewhere.
