Bikes: the ever shifting stable loaded with comfortable road bikes and city and winter bikes

oh, i'll go with legitimate sources of information about london cycling.

Yes, contango, some elements of bicycle traffic are near universal.

for example, universally: As cities become more smartly designed for bike traffic and more people bike for health, finances, etc.....those cities begin to show increases in bicycle traffic on ALL streets, like the one you live on.

A bicycle planning Axiom: Make it easier for people to ride across town, you'll see more people biking in the neighborhoods.

imagine that! yes, there's more to it than paint. All the references from official government agencies point to a variety of measures that have led to increases in bike traffic.

you are familiar with transport for london, eh? Heard and read, maybe even ridden these new networks of blue lanes into and out of london and the bicycle superhighway concept, right?

Just like in New York City, another bicycling axiom - 'build it and they will ride' - is also in evidence in London by all legitimate accounts.

Honestly, i think London needs to dedicate even MORE road space to bike traffic and better ways to discourage motorized bike and pedal bike traffic from mixing. Additionally, the advisory lanes are LAME and continue to present barriers to more normalized bicycling for transport across london.
