I think it's funny that people have all this trouble..I tap mine in with a hammer and a little Park bearing grease at home..on the floor in my living room. I've done it to every bike i've own, the last 5 have been bb30. No problems with creaking or anything. All my friends have BB30 also and i don't hear any creaking from them either. Maybe it's cause temps are so stable here in socal and from a contraction and expansion standpoint there just isn't much…who knows.
