BB30 is still relatively new, and pretty good aside from the apparent creaking issues. If nothing far superior arises in the next few years, all the little glitches in BB30 would be worked out after 5 years or so.
The question isn't if the other standards will become obsolete now, but if they will after 5 years, or 10 years (but they won't be completely, just like you still fine threaded headsets and quill stems in some, albeit it low-end, bikes today).
I'm not riding BB30 right now, but in a few years, I'd definitely consider it for my next bike.
