No, I'm not, rather I'm looking for the best of both. Great Mondonico construction, using Spirit. But I want to know if anyone has experience with the product as made after 2005, and can tell me how they ride, if they are still pinned, and if they compare well today to Cinelli steel and the few other modern Italian steel frames. Mine was made in the early '80s by Antonio Mondonico. But he retired in 2005, 6 years ago. The company today is different.

Torelli still lists Mondonico built with Spirit, but has zero notes on how they are built - we could be talking about a Chinese frame for all they say, or subcontracted to the new, lowest price builder on the block.
