I really appreciate all of the advice on the upgrading suggestion. Just to give you a better idea of what exactly I am working with I thought I would give you the link. It's a 2000 model Trek 1000, old school quill stem and all still. lol. Right now I have no problem keeping up with the fast group rides in my area as is but I can feel it in the hills on 75+ mile rides so I'm hoping dropping some rotating weight and weight elsewhere will really help out.
