They didn't do the best job on the mounting, but Mavic doesn't give you much choice either. By the way, the pad you see on the side of yours is supposed to be under the mounting bracket. Also I’m becoming disappointed in mine, I’ll start on a ride only to find out that the computer didn’t start up and I can’t get it to start since it’s automatic. I’ve changed all the batteries a couple of times but still have problems.
