The evidence isn't clear. She says he was beside the two cars traveling fast, but doesn't say if he continued through after the stopped as if he was coming from a distance and passed them or was even with them in traffic and continued to go as they slowed to a stop.

Personally having driven many miles on Hwy 50/Colonial I can guess he was even with the cars, completely hidden and continued his ride as they slowed thinking he was clear and a bus wouldn't jump so quick across the lane that he couldn't clear. Cars don't go 40 on many parts of Colonial, so you could more than likely ride at the same pace of traffic.

Sucks either way.
