Thanks guys! Yeah, I wouldn't head straight to a frame I cared about before nailing down some more variables in my experience. The wood I'm working on is a bookcase for my son's nursery, so while it won't give much insight into frame painting, it will help me understand the pressure and mixtures of spraying. And I get a colorful piece of furniture for the kid.
