My off-season goals are: (now through November)
1) Lose 10-15 lbs. I'm 170 lbs. now at 6' tall. 155 lbs. would be great, 160 lbs. acceptable.
2) Core-strength and limberness. At age 50, I think these activities are necessary, perhaps even year-round (something I stopped during once the 2011 season began). I'm not limber or aero, and I want to improve my TT performance. I also get a sore lower back when riding.
3) Bike-fitting. I did this last year, but I still have a sore lower back and neck pain (left side) when riding. I need a solution to this chronic problem. #2 is most likely my answer, but today I'm visiting an ortho doc.
