Home and stoned! The surgery went off without a hitch, they used a nerve block (which I was skeptical about) and didn't have to use a general anesthetic. I'm home, and following the doc's orders, lay down with foot elevated, take pain meds as prescribed, and rest. I have a one year handicapped parking pass, crutches, and a wheel chair for getting around. I'll elaborate more later, as the painmeds are taking their toll.
