Neil: Amtrak is considered to be the easiest century in CA... supposedly "flat" and is the first century for many riders.
That said... t's not my favorite century. Too flat for me plus lots of first time (ie squirrely) riders and then Torey Pines and extreme heat at 80 miles. You end up paying dearly for all that flat early on!
