Did a little digging on Dawes-man's 1983 catalog. The Katakura Silk had three racing models, one looks chrome, one is painted, one is a track bike. All of the components look higher end than what came on mine, so I wonder if they lowered components to meet some US Government pricing target. Parts look like Superbe to me, I am not too sure. I've got quite a few Superbe Pro bits, but not an entire group.
