Here's a slightly different question. Do you use a pressure regulator at the gun, along with an oil/water separator? That's a lot of extra inches dangling in the way if I need to move the gun around into tight spots and such.

Should I hook up the separator at the gun end of the hose, then get another short hose to go from there to the gun? Should I give it a go without the separator?
