I actually don't have any issues with titanium as a frame material. I think people should ride what they want.
But I've always chuckled at the marketing tag line of Ti being stronger than AL and lighter than steel because you can reverse it as I did and it is still true. Maybe because Ti is at the middle in both strength and weight there is something magical about it.
But in my experience good riding frames can be built out of a variety of materials. For the fellas in this thread who are 'attracted' to it they should go for it. For the engineer physics dude he should get something else. There can be options and happiness for both.
