I like the Specialized Hemisphere Sport. It is designed for mixed terrain, has an extra thick layer of tread in the center and some kind of flat protection. Have one on the rear of my cargo 'bent and it gives me great traction on both the local highways and the gravel, dirt, and grass byroads. Dunno if the 38s would fit your rims, sven98, but that is the narrowest size they come in.
