I think we need to clarify "asking" prices from "sold" prices.
I also think someone needs to put in an offer in the "Best Offer" box to see what sort of reaction you get.
Side question: if a Buy-It-Now / Best-Offer listing gets a best offer submitted does the seller get dinged for a fee if the seller doesn't accept the offer? Would be funny to put in a $5 offer and see how long it lasts, it would also send a bit of a signal to people.
Here's a (not) funny anecdote: if you offer $100 on a bike that has a BIN of $1000 / Best Offer, and the seller counters $900, the "current Best Offer" will show as $900!!! What a crock. No one offered $900.
