Thanks for all the great responses. Well, I'm convinced I can go as high as 35c on my stock rims. My LBS even confirmed that with me the other day. So I decided to go back to a CX tire in that size. I realize that I need to compromise and Im willing to give up a little road grip for better offroad grip. My streets are very smooth and my route doesnt have much traffic. Now I just need to decide on which CX tire.
