After 40 years of cycling and trying nearly every fabric known to man and every brand out there I will wear only 1 thing, merino wool. Whether it is hot or cold, wet or dry, snow or rain, no other fabric compares. The jersey below is comfortable in anything, from 100F to 10 degrees. The antibacterial properties of wool prevent body odor, I can wear this jersey in 90 degree weather for a week with no stink whatsoever. Easy to care for, merino wool is nothing like scratchy stuff you have read about.
More importantly, the staff at Ibex is excellent, any item can be returned no questions asked.
