As far as 650 b goes it begs the question why one would want to use these when there is such a great selection of 26 inch tyres out there... have seen a few vintage mtbs converted to 700c as they can often be configured this way due to having the right measurements to fit side pulls instead of cantis or v brakes.

For dirt and rough roads the 26 is the way to go.
