Follis were imported in at least the early 70s. If I remember right the "factory" was actually a bike shop located near St.Etienne. The upper end of their range was considered pretty good. I had the bottom of the line 072 with straight-gauge tubling, MAFAC brakes, and plastic Simplex derailleurs-- and that was a very enjoyable ride.
