Oxalic Acid also known as deck bleach is great for removing rust, for small areas mix the
powder into a paste and put it on the rusty area.
do a search for Oxalic Acid in this forum. there are about 5 pages worth of threads.
As for my warning, chrome polish (like simichrome) on some of the campagnolo parts
will turn the anodizing black, which does not look good.
chrome polish is fine on the fork, but don't use it on any of the campy parts.
