The most expensive handbag I know of is $9k. Came up in conversation with a yuppie gal who found it perfectly justifiable cost wise. Goes with a pair of Jimmy C. shoes for $700 she wants.
Makes $3k look like a clearance sale.
I gave her a wide-eyed stunned look. But then I got one back for the prices for bikes and parts.
