Mostly easier to take off with more zipper. I have a 1/2, 3/4, and a full. It wouldn't affect my buying decision too much.

My Castelli jersey is the shortest one despite it being an XL. Go by the sizing chart on bonktown and you'll be able to figure out which one. I am 5'11 168 lbs with short legs (30in cycling inseam) and the Castelli XL fits well. It's a bit looser than my Hincapie L race cut. I also have a Castelli jacket that's a L and fits well. It helps to read the reviews on the bottom of the page to see how others say theirs fit.
