MY 13 year old is currently riding my Dahon Boardwalk. She just rode it on Sunday for 12 miles. My 6 year old is going to get her old Citizen Tokyo next year (he still needs to learn to ride). As for fitting in, folders are all the rage in NYC. My kids are actually trendy and all their friends think that their bikes are the coolest thing ever.
