True. No butt pimples when I ride on my Brooks. And I can wear pretty much anything I want. No cycling specific shorts required for anything but long distance rides.

It took a few days to get used to riding on a slippery seat, but once I became willing to ride with the nose up a tad, everything kind of came together.
