I never really considered that. If you need a chain tensioner anyway, there's no real disadvantage to running a double or triple crank as well. Out of interest, are you running a half-step setup there? The middle and outer chainrings look to be close enough in size.
sort of a faux halfstep. I'll have to look but I think it is a 48/52, it is not hilly enough around here to make the granny worth while.
