I'm curious if anyone has replaced a recessed bolt with a nutted bolt. I accidentally ordered a recessed brake, and the old one was a nutted. I took the old one apart and was able to remove the bolt, put it back in, and reassemble the brake. It seems pretty doable, seeing as I was able to do it, but would there be any complications doing this "for real", removing a recessed bolt and replacing it with a nutted one? Are the bolts different diameters?

Other question, what is the bolt length on the tektro R556 recessed mount? It looks like I'll need at least 30mm to get through the fork.
