I'm down to 169 now and was 189 before I started commuting last spring. For about the 3 three months my weight stayed the same, but my belt kept getting longer. So when you first begin you can't always judge progress by the scale alone. Around last September the muscle gain started to level off and my weight started coming down to about what it is now. I don't have any particular weight target, but I do still have some fat to burn off.
Only recently have my thighs started to slim (darn! and I thought that was all muscle

). I've noticed the grippers on my favourite shorts are getting looser and looser. I'm probably already at the point that I should go down a size.
