They lack snob appeal and thus the snobs put them down. I owned a Trek 560 pro that I sold because it was a smidge tall and I'm totally missing it right now. I also own a Trek 4300 for when I'm crazy enough to leave the road for short periods of time. Both of them have been very solid bikes.
