You mean you wait until you have the rim in hand before ordering your spokes? I think you can trust the ERD measurements from Sun, Velocity and VO. They've been 100% correct in my experience.

I've been using this calculator lately and I like it. I've ordered spokes for 8-10 wheels recently and all spoke lengths were right on.

You likely are aware, Japino, but round DOWN those spoke lengths, not up.
