Hey everybody.

I want to upgrade my brakes. I currently have a Avid v-brakes on it now. My frame and fork have the disk brake mounts on them.

I weigh 195 and do a lot of single track riding in Indiana...so I won't be decending any mountains with them but could use more stopping power than I have now.

My front runner choice right now is Avid BB7 disk brakes with 203mm rotor. I could use my existing cables and levers with these which would be good.

I don't think I want hydralics because of the maintenance.

Help me decide... Opinions? Other brands? Thanks!
