I was thinking when it broke of how lucky I was that it broke on that trail and not the one I did 2 weeks ago. The trail I was on was a really flat and simple dirt single track.

any thoughts? Also, I'm getting married in May and being in college and on a limited budget, my fiance requires the frame to be less $100. Any suggestions of good sturdy frames for around $100? I'm ok with older used frames, but I really like the looks and weight of the newer aluminium frames (specially the newer Treks).
