Last year, in the first flush of excitement for cycling, I felt I had to have a pair of the Specialized Roubaix bibs at $160. I then complained for months at what a waste of $ they were as they felt no different ot my $40 pair. Full-forward a year and I love the things. Ive come to appreciate the excellent fit, lightweight, wash-well and usability of the bibs.

I must admit, I would probably drop the $160 again when these wear out. I wear them 3x a week so it wont be long (read 3x washes too!)
