I have a couple pair of Performance Brand "Scattante" Forza bibs. I find them to be comfortable, but...

My first pair, after about 8 months of hard use (wear them ~2 days per week, washing and drying them after every use), some of the padding layers within chamois started to come unglued and fold over itself - creating odd bulges above the rear of my saddle.

They weren't uncomfortable that way, but it was annoying. So I carefully removed 1/2" of stitching on the chamois, and removed the offending layers - two of them - one a gel layer and another a thinner foam layer.

Frankly, they're just as comfortable or MORE comfortable without them. These layers made the rear of the chamois too thick, IMO.

I've decided that I'm not going to hang dry my cycling clothes from now on.

And I won't buy a third pair of the same bibs.
