So that's what that smell is every time I drive through Galt? Seriously though, great job and welcome to BF!

On my way back, I could hear them doing it to other cars. And since they'd got me already, I was ready for it. And it came. No jumps this time. Anyways, after thinking about it, I thought it was a pretty good prank. Although it could conceivably cause someone to become so startled they might temporarily lose control and cause damage to someone/something.
I would have had a little fun with my AirZound on the way back, with camera rolling of course!

Knock on wood, since cell phones have become cheap and cell phone cameras have gotten better, people haven't been pulling the BS they did in the early 90s when I was hit in the small of the back with a crushed can, and hit in the side of the neck with a hard-boiled egg (both of these hurt like hell, btw!). Drivers down here in the valley are normally very considerate. Same up in the hills where I do my climbing rides.

But, that streak of good luck ended in July when I was on a climbing ride near Placerville. I was buzzed on the first climb out of the canyon by a silver Toyota Tacoma (here we go with the pickups again. ). I was recording video, so you can see it here. Skip to 3:06 and pause it right as he passes. You can see a magnetic company sign on the side of the truck. What a piece of work!

On the climb back out of the canyon on the return trip, the same moron buzzed me. This time he yelled "Get off the road!". When I got home I was able to read the plate after several plays. I called CHP. They put a sergeant on the line, who told me no laws were broken. WTF?
