This bicycle has been ridden for at least 1000 miles since the 2 years I have owned it. I just put new brakes on it, as well as new derailleurs, both on front and back. Sorry about there being no rear brake, but I figure that a front brake is enough for general stopping needs.

Additional modifications I have done were addition of a headlight (typically the kind fleet vehicles use as a reverse light), and a generic taillight which run on a 12 volt battery. It has a real car horn (safety is crutial for riding, but it needs a pushbutton as of yet), it also has a 12 volt outlet (you can charge your cellphone/MP3/iPod/GPS/etc, you can help stranded motorists or other bicyclists, or yourself if there is a flat tire when you have a pump, you can also use it for homebrew helmet lighting), there even a battery life indicator since I happened to re-use a control panel from a discarded portable jump box. I also have a rearview mirror from a car on the right handgrip.

Just as a reminder, you'll need a trickle charger, or some car battery charger in order to charge the battery provided with the bike. Be sure not to overcharge the battery, since it would be smart to use an automatic battery charger, or to put a timer in line with a manual charger. It is also feasible to put the battery in parallel with a battery maintainer if you also have a classic/seasonal vehicle alongside.

First time I've seen a bike with a dashboard and glovebox.

No rear brake, but "It has a real car horn (safety is crutial for riding)..." Um, yeah...riiiiight...
