People put KS on them irregardless ..

Want a KS and not already bought the Surly, Get a Salsa Instead , same company just different specs on the contract s.

Koga Miyata is.. my '04 WTR has 2, they have gotten a large batch
of Tubus Ergo Racks made long ago,
so a short kickstand is fitted under the left side lowrider..
that controls the load on the front wheel., and it won't roll.

My own touring bike design, co op fabricated..
.. a rear wheel stand .. two triangle pylons
contact point 6 nylon Tips of the tubes, and a horizontal tube connecting them .
worked fine..
It stands the bike up on soft peat, the consistency of cool butter.
dont know about dry sand, might need ti throw down a piece of cardboard first..
