Alright... so if we consume 200-300 Kcal for each hour we ride... and theoretically we burn 2-3x that much... the rest comes from... [muscle?] or [fat]. I am guessing the ladder, so that has to come from somewhere I would assume initially the liver with the glycogen store, and then the liver replenishes from fat stores... seems like I remember this from Bio188.
Skinny-fat is best viewed at Wally-World: Toothpick legs with ham hock triceps and pencil forearms... love it; and for some reason they feel the need to wear tiny shorts w/ a wedgie... go figure.
