Whoever laid out the route was a sadistic non-cyclist. 5,000' of climbing all of which started after mile 65 and all but the last 5 blocks of the entire ride was into prevailing winds. But it was a beautiful day and there were plenty of well-stocked rest stops. My first completed century, 6:50 saddle time.
