As for the 10-12mph thing, I had a 6 minute mile (10mph) back in high school and pretty much every last person on the track team was around 4:30 to 5:30, so that's what I'm gauging it on. I'm talking about avid runners, not people who casually jog around once in a while. In any case, my entire point is that runners are not necessarily slower than cyclists.
Over what distance could you maintain a 6 minute mile?
