I talk to people I know and I might talk to someone I didn't know while passing on the road. But I have more people in cars asking directions than I would ever have to ask. Before I go anyplace new I tend to map it out on Mapmyride. And going anyplace else once I have been there I know how to get there and back again. If I were to get lost, highly unlikely, I have an Iphone with maps and mapmyride and Google. The people in the stores don’t know how I got to the store so I am not more or less part of the community simply because I cycle there.
