Basically says that diet only, diet/cardio, and diet/cardio/resistance burned 68%, 75%, and 97% of weight respectively from fat mass in their experiment.
In addition i recently learned when you include resistance training the types of fat cells emptied are more likely by 15% to be visceral fat(abdominal fat) as apposed to subcutaneous fat which is mostly affected by aerobic exercise. This may explain why cyclists are disposed to end up with a bit of a belly.... but lets be honest, put lycra on any random person and they'll have a BIT more of a belly than your typical cyclist.
