Another option a couple of eBay sellers who are offering what appear manufacturer's seconds.

eBay and came across a German seller,
trekkingstar, selling Ortleib Bike Packer Plus saddle bags for ~$92 + postage. This is around 50% off

PBK prices. Postage lot listed so that maybe the killer, but worth investigating for sure.

schneckenkopf responded to my questions whereas the other seller has not. This seller advised that:
The Bike-Packer have only a very very small Scratch on one Reflectors on the side. Sport-Packer only one bag have a very small optical fault
you can not see it.sorry my englich is not very good.100% the bags are waterproof
