So here's something I don't understand. If the main purpose of sizing down is to get a lower handlebar, why don't they make race dedicated frames with an even shorter head tube? I know they already have shorter ones on race frames versus touring frames, but it's obviously not enough. Pros with short arms and old farts can always flip the stem up and keep the spacers on.
