No idea on the weight. If I was planning on a single speed from the get-go, I might consider the Big Shot just to get the track ends. I personally think the Nano frame is the more elegant of the two (if such a thing can be said about a minivelo frame). I also wonder if the geometry of the Mini Polo is more suited to slow speed pursuits (like bike polo) as opposed to riding distances on the road. The Nano is twitchy enough for my taste.
