Well, I'm sorry to hear the sad tale and fate of your Bianchi. But I can relate to getting a good deal on a Soloist. I've been enjoying mine. And while I love carbon, and even wrecked an alu frame in a minor crash, I bought the Soloist in large part because it's metal ... I feel comfortable locking it at the bike rack outside the office.
