Will Big Apple 2.15 fit Downtube Nova? I've searched everywhere for answer....

Yan from Downtube said he has customers with 1.9 which I'm assuming is the Big Apple 2.0 since I think they ran a little on the smaller side. From what I've read, 2.15 is more true to size. I just want to double check to make sure 2.15 won't fit before I place an order with a different kind of a LBS (this one home based tandem specialists). Price is $100 for the pair including tubes and installation. That seems like a fair price.

I did read that there was a noticeable comfort increase going from 2.0 to 2.15 so I would like that if at all possible even if only rear wheel.

Please chime in. This seems to be the unanswered question in all the threads I've read including the one on downtube.com. I have to let them know by this weekend to get the order in on Monday and tires on by Wednesday.

I'm open minded to another high volume tire alternative as well. I want to spend the money in tires as that's what touches the ground. Things like Thudbuster is out of the question since my hands and the frame would still get all the shock and vibration. Going straight to the source as first course of action.

One last thing I want to confirm. The shop said it weighs 535 grams. It's the only one they can get. Is that the liteskin version. I got a little confused as the schwalbe site says so but they have a lighter tire 495 grams as well on top of the page.

Thanks!
